This week’s finds are all about winter gear and prepping for the blustery season ahead but I have also provided past finds that fall into this category as well. I hope these finds ease your winter blues!
The Distinguished Rider-QHP Calgary Thermo Field Boots
Winter riding boots are typically bulky, chunky and never sleek but these QHP boots from The Distinguished Rider are everything your other winter boots are not! These boots are sleek and look like a typical leather field boot but are lined with synthetic fur throughout the leg and the footbed to keep you warm in the winter. They have elastic inserts to allow for some stretch and not to mention, they are reasonably priced too.
32 Degrees- Long Coat
During winter months, I typically like to wear a long coat over the top of a lightweight jacket or sweatshirt so I’m warm while tacking up but then I can take the long coat off before I ride. This long coat is durable and washes up great, not to mention it is more affordable than any other long coat you would buy with an equestrian brand stamp on it. 32 degrees also makes different lengths of coats, vests and base layers that are great options for winter barn attire.
Cavalor Mash & Mix
Lots of people feed mashes to ensure their horse is getting plenty of water during winter months. In the past, I have simply used senior feed as a mash which is totally fine to increase water intake but I recently discovered Cavalor Mash & Mix. It is loaded with electrolytes and prebiotics and very easily digestible. The reviews for this product look great and being that it is a large bag, you could share a bag with barn friends. Using this mash mix would be a great addition to your winter routine and I’m sure your horse will love the extra treat after their workout!
